Well Hello There

Hello everyone who happens to find their way here! If you noticed my site has been under ‘maintenance mode’ since Wednesday. I had a bunch of plans for this here site when I started the revamp. They where:
- Change the design
- Use a different blogging system
- Center content around crocheting
Did I do any of these things? Well… yes and no.
- I started on a new design but frogged it. I want a sidebar on the side, but I can’t get it to look right.
- I was on the verge of doing so but I realized I’d have to do a lot of work I did not want to do to get other features to work. I guess I am a total word press girl.
- I was going to do this but no. Would anyone but a few people want to see a bunch of crochet stuff? I don’t unless I am looking for patterns. And I do not have enough patterns to dedicate a site to it.
So here I sit posting the first post… I deleted the old database that had all my other posts. I got tired of the 404 errors that would not get fixed no matter what I did. I plan on featuring my finished projects when they are done - I think. Maybe somehow I can import from ravelry. For now the RSS for my page on ravelry must do. You will also notice no pictures of my family or me on the site either. I felt I had to do this as my kids friends are rather internet savvy.
It is almost midnight now. I am tired. Tomorrow is my last chance to sleep in for the week.

have you thought about using Blogger? it is so easy!! even i can use it
Sissie, I don’t think she can use Blogger since she is a member of the QBee. I believe that the club says that those type are a no-no. But I may be wrong.
Personally, I would just make a front page & nothing else. Just blog entries & your quilt, nothing else.

Do we not need an about page? I don’t think it matters I am doubting my coming off of hiatus at the qbee anyhow.
